UPIC Merit Awards 2025

We’re proud to honour the remarkable achievements of our international student community this year.

At the start of October every year, we invite all UPIC students to join us at the Jill Craigie Cinema on campus. Our goal is to fill the space with inspiration, laughter, heartfelt speeches, prizes, certificates, and of course… plenty of applause!

What’s it all about?

The UPIC Merit Awards is an annual event organised by staff to reward the students who have gone above and beyond, both academically and personally. Whether they’ve achieved top marks or they’ve made exceptional progress, these awards shine a light on the determination of our students.

What’s involved?

This year’s event was extra special because we hosted an exciting afterparty to showcase our new College building. We ordered some delicious catering and everyone was invited to frame the moment at our pop up photo booth.

Can I win next year?

Absolutely! If you’ve just started your UPIC journey this September, you could be one of next year’s winners. Keep doing your best, stay motivated, and who knows… maybe your name will appear on the big screen in October 2026.
