Ice Skating At Winter Wonderland

UPIC students join the festivities in Central Park to celebrate the end of a successful academic year.

A group of 30+ international students headed straight from campus to Central Park to experience the Christmas magic at Plymouth’s Winter Wonderland.

The most popular activity by far was the ice rink. Everyone got involved and showed a fantastic range of skills. Some were a little nervous, taking time to adjust, but they soon caught up to the pro-skaters.

Afterwards, we went over to the fairground rides and explored the full range of tempting food stalls. This is the first winter in a cold climate for many of our students, so seeing them wrap up warm and fully immerse themselves in the festive spirit was absolutely brilliant.

What a way to wrap up the year! This was a highly successful event and we were delighted to see our students enjoy a very British Christmas together in the UK.
